"This is really about your voice. The voice of the body of Christ."

Those were the words of Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, who turned himself in to authorities Monday afternoon, charged with unlawful assembly and violation of a public health emergency order.

Hundreds of people showed up for Sunday services.

Pastor Howard-Browne said that his Church service was an essential service. The media has shown religious bigotry and hate, according to the Pastor, and the threat of COVID-19 is "blown totally way out of proportion".

It will be interesting to track the health of his Church Worshipers over the next few weeks.

I read about that! What an irresponsible person! All he needed to do was stream his service on FB or YT. That's what other churches are doing.

No

Liberty University is remaining open. Between 1,000 -2,000 students are attending classes.

Students have been told not to talk with the Press.

Lynchburg has around 85,000 residents. A town to watch.

What exactly is their point in staying open? Did they say?

According to Liberty News, Reverend Falwell said
Liberty is taking into account the sometimes conflicting orders and guidance of government officials and public health experts regarding higher education and our unique population.  As this dynamic situation changes again, the university will continue to reassess” Falwell said, according to Liberty News.

Most classes are being taught on line, but that was mostly in response to the Governor outlawing gatherings of 100 people or more.

Hello MeDotBored,

Does the guy in your avatar realize that leaving his nose exposed completely defeats the purpose of wearing a face mask?
